When a family joins CC4C, they join a community rooted in hope, healing, and possibility. As highlighted in Cedar Park City Lifestyle, CC4C’s impact reaches far beyond programming—it's about walking alongside families navigating rare and undiagnosed conditions and making sure they never feel alone in the journey.

In our most recent impact report, 100% of families shared that their child’s emotional well-being improved through CC4C programs. That’s the heart behind our four core pillars:

  • Financial assistance

  • Uplifting trips

  • Family well-being initiatives

  • Dream Teams

Supporting Families Through Every Chapter

CC4C partners with Central Texas families until their child turns 19, offering wellness support, community-building events, and resources that help parents, siblings, and caregivers exhale and feel supported. Eligible families may also receive up to $5,000 per child in medical assistance, easing some of the financial strain that often accompanies rare and undiagnosed conditions.

Spotlight: Alison Havens, Director of Programs

The article highlights the journey of Alison Havens, who first connected with CC4C through Project Valentine in 2020. What began as a volunteer experience quickly grew into a leadership role. Now, as Director of Programs, Alison helps match Spotlight Children with Dream Teams and brings uplifting experiences to life.

Creating Once-in-a-Lifetime Memories

One of CC4C’s most meaningful opportunities is the biannual trip to the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah, where children and their parents enjoy fully adaptive summer and winter sports. With CC4C covering costs, families are free to focus on connection, joy, and making memories in a supportive environment.

As Alison shared, these experiences offer families a rare chance to step away from their daily challenges and feel truly seen, supported, and celebrated.

A Community That Walks Together

From wellness resources to family events to the powerful support of Dream Teams, CC4C provides a network families can count on, filled with moments to look forward to and people who understand the journey.
