Gray is an amazing little boy who has surprised so many with his bravery and steadfast love of life. His parents describe him as "all boy" and he loves soldiers, helmets, weapons, cars, and roughhousing. His parents describe him as a “little miracle” along with his twin sister, Adelaide, who also has SMA.
When Gray was 6 months old he was diagnosed with SMA after his parents noticed low tone. Shortly after his SMA diagnosis, he was hospitalized for 3 months with pneumonia, and became so weak he had to receive a trach to be allowed to go home. Life was very hard for Gray and for his family, but they kept the joy and found the good while hoping his life-saving medications would help him get stronger every day. Slowly but surely, he gained strength and is one of the first SMA patients in the world to get a trach removed. He is now a super speed wheelchair user, and will be starting 3rd grade in the fall of 2026. He loves his family and friends, cooking, playing, wrestling, restaurants, and travel.
