Adelaide is a bright little girl who has surprised so many with her increasing strength and hitting milestones as she's grown. She is a girly girl who loves pretending, crafting, swimming, jokes, cooking and drawing. Her parents happily call her a ”little miracle” along with her twin brother, Gray, who also has SMA.
When Adelaide was 6 months old she was diagnosed with SMA after her parents noticed a regression in her abilities and movements. She received Spinraza and gene therapy at 6 months and one year respectively and started getting stronger little by little. Now she's an independent little thing and loves to explore the world using her gait trainer. She loves her family, friends, traveling, swimming, and cracking jokes.
